Who we are

VenueSage is an event venue marketplace operating in London, United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect on this website, why, and the choices you have. For questions or data requests, contact team@venuesage.com.

What we collect and why

• Interest registrations. If you express interest in early access, we store your email address and whether you registered as a guest or a host, so we can contact you about access. Legal basis: consent. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
• Analytics. With your consent, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how our sites are used. Analytics data is not used to identify you personally and is never sold. Legal basis: consent — see our Cookie Policy.
• Account data. If you hold a VenueSage account (guest or host), additional data is processed to provide the service — bookings, messages, payments — as covered in the in-app privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the ICO (UK) or your local supervisory authority.

Retention

Interest registrations are kept until launch outreach is complete or you ask us to remove you. Analytics data is retained by PostHog per our project settings. We do not transfer your data outside the UK/EU.
